Kiefer Sutherland is back…

Kiefer Sutherland is back as Martin Bohm – a former journalist and luggage handler, whose wife was killed in the September 11 attacks. The widely promoted TV series Touch came out January 25th (2012),with the same director as of I am Legend.

After all the years of filming 24 hours, Kiefer admitted that he was planing to take a break from acting, but once he was presented with this plot, after reading it he couldn’t say no, because he thought the plot is brilliant…and he was soooo right!

In my opinion, there is not much Tv series truly worth watching anymore, well except all the comedy shows maybe, there is quite a lot good of them at the moment. Something intriguing and touching though, something that glues you to the TV for the time it’s airing, I haven’t seen released for a while, so I was extremely excited after watching Pilot of “Touch”. I watched it so far 3 or maybe more times, each time it was interesting and affecting and I simply can’t wait for the second episode to come out.

The plot in shirt version: Martin Bohm is a widower and single father who is haunted by an inability to connect to his emotionally challenged 11-year-old son Jake. But when Martin discovers that Jake can predict events before they happen, everything changes.

Before starting watching it, I expected it will be a drama about relationship with a sick child, but it turned out to be so much more! It is fiction with mystery and action, that enrolls a lot of completely different stories into one episode but making them connected. Already in the pilot, there is a terrorism subject involved, morning of a child, unfulfilled dreams, september 11th subject and many more….the actor that plays child (David Mazouz) is very perfect for this part.

This series make you rethink your life a bit and think about all those times when random circumstances or accidents that after changing your life doesn’t seem so random anymore.

Try watching one episode and I am sure you’ll get hooked=)

You can watch it either here or in this site.
