Whitney Cummings….

My new favorite funny lady! Well, if you have heard her talking, maybe lady is not the right word….but she is damn hilarious!

Whitney Cummings is an American comedian and actress. She was formerly a cast member of the MTV television show Punk’d. Now this stand up comedian has two of her show, and they are both made with good sense of humor, that is entertaining episode by episode, without running out of funny, at least so far.

To find out more on Whitney, visit her blog “Princess Complex”.

The first show is called Whitney. The series follows Whitney Cummings, as she portrays a fictionalized version of herself, and her very supportive live-in boyfriend, Alex. Even though the two have decided that they will not commit to marriage, she does question how committed they are in their 3-year relationship and tries to go as far to prove a point. In order to keep her relationship alive, she uses unconventional and really funny methods. She also has great support from her close friends, that are all very different and unique personalities. The sitcom is set in Chicago in front of the life audience.

The other show is called Two Broke Girls. Set in the Williamsburg neighborhood of the New York City borough of Brooklyn, the series chronicles the lives of two waitresses in their early twenties—Max (Kat Dennings), who comes from a poor working-class family, and Caroline (Beth Behrs), who was born rich but is now disgraced and penniless due to her father, getting caught with fraud. The two become friends and build toward their dream of one day opening a cupcake shop.

The series is filled with funny conversations and characters involved. I liked most that the rich girl character was made very down to earth.  It is pleasant atmosphere creating personage and I believe the actress is doing great job on it.
